Will a 4 channel amp sound better than a 2 channel amp with 4 speakers in our church we have 2 channel 110 wat

we have 2 channel 110 watt peavey amp now with 4 speakers , ceiling speakers on 1 channel & stage (moniters) on the other channel my ? is would a 4 channel amp sound better than the 2 channel being i can give each speaker its own channel we have a 21 channel peavey mixer board all this is in our santuary roughly 30' by 50' room size thanks for any advice

Yes... splitting channels always hurts sound quality.  Each speaker having its own dedicated channel is always the best approach.
