Will a 40 GB hard disk drive work on a PS2 slim?

Okay, we recently bought this finial fantasy with a 40 GB hard drive to go into the *big* Playstation 2, but we have the slim version, We looked for instructions in the manual, but I couldn't find any. Is there a site or any thing that might give us some help?

  2. Slim PS2 doesn't have HDD slot, sorry.
