Will a 400watt power supply be able to run a sapphire radeon x1950pro AGP?

  1. Should be fine but try to remember its not about Watts.

    to power a graphics card the card draws power from the +12v rail off the psu.

    u will see a sticker on the Psu saying +12v ( 20 amps or 26 amps etc.

    u can have a cheap generic 700W psu but if that +12v rails is kicking out less amps then what the card needs u will encounter freezing and shutdowns ore graphic glitches

    I have just done a quick google search for psu requirments for that card and u need 30amps on the +12v rail and at most forums and sites are saying a good quality 450Psu, as the card is a hungry thing.

    you may to do a google check ureself mate before buying it as u may need to upgrade ure psu
