  1. It will, but for how long depends on what you're using your computer for.

  2. There is a custom UPS calculator that I like to use at http://www.csgnetwork.com/upssizecalc.ht... , first calculate your max PC power draw using my fave psu calc http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psuca... and use this value as the PC watt load, and plug and chug your other values in like 100w guestimate for a typical CRT and about ~40w for an LCD) and it will give a recommendation.

So let's say you have this workstation http://cgi.ebay.com/DELL-PRECISION-690-T... which is:

    -Intel Xeon Processor 5150

-8 GB DDR2 ECC 677 MHz System Memory (4xDIMM on Riser)

    -nVidia Quadro FX 3500

-500 GB SATA II Hard Drive at 7,200rpm (single HDD only)

    -16x DVD+/-RW

I get 268w max, so if you have a CRT that is 368w total and the recommended min is 515VA rating and recommended is 650VA - so yes that unit should work well - depending on what else you have plugged into it :)

    cheers
