Will a 5g Ipod fit in a 6g case?

i have a 5g ipod (5th generation) and there is a 6g case that is real cheap online but i dont know if it will fit? does anyone know? theyre about the same arent they?

  1. Yeah it will fit but when you put in in make sure its in there tight. I had the same ipod as you and it worked with a 6g.
