Will a 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo work in my PSP?

I have a PSP-1000, with 3.52 M33. I was wondering if a 8gig memory card would work with it, I currently have a 2gig that works fine, I heard 4gigs work great, but I have only heard that an 8 gig works with PSP-1001 I would like to know before I spend $60 on it. Thanks

Yep, any Memory stick will work. However, it does not work with Pandora or DC. Even with DCv6 out, it is still not working right. I would buy that 8 GB then maybe keep a 1 GB for Hacking purposes ( DC + Pandora)

I have a PSP-1000 and i have a 4 gig memory card,and i wanted more and y bought an 8 gig for 50 euro but it didnt work,Then after a month i bought PSP 1001 and the 8 ig memory card worked fine.
