Hey Guys,

I have an 01 Integra LS with a B18B USD Engine. I want to increase the power in this weak little thing. Can I replace it with a B20B from a Honda CRV, which seem to be in great abundance these days? Will a B20 fit in an Integra LS, and will the OBD-II ECM connect up properly?

If I rebuilt the B18 with Eagle 95MM Stroker Kit would I get the same performance effect?

I don''t want a VTEC. Too much complication for me.

  1. yes the b20 will fit...but if your going to build the b18...it would be better...the b20 blocks walls are rather thin and not as strong as the b18...so the rebuilt b18 would be better for more horse and reliability....

  2. B20 WILL fit in an 01 integra!  and they are badass.

I would try to do an LS/VTEC in my opinion tho but you dont want vtec... you could always make an LS/VTEC and get Vtec killer cams tho ;].

  3. wow 95mm stroker kit on a non vtec? IMO thats lame with out a type r, gsr or b16 head. Anyways no you will not get the same effect because even with a stroker kit, a b20 engine will not handle that much abuse because the head was not built for high revs. If i was you, i would boost the b20 instead. Its cheaper and you get more power. Also if you plan on doing ANYTHING to a b20 you HAVE TO SLEEVE the block. The cylinder walls on the blocks suck nuts and they will crack easily. The B18B is a great engine that has a lot of potential. Experiment with that instead and save some cash. Boost the ls and do some head work on it and i can guarantee you you'll be a very very very happy camper=]

  4. yes it will fit.. all B-series fit in all other b-series cars.. and 92-95 civics...

    B20+boost for the win

you can keep it OBD II, if you went to a OBD I series car then you'd have to convert
