I have a dvd recorder upstairs which i put downstairs to plug into my sky+ box, but it would not work..just kept making funny noises and kept scrambling. A normal DVD player works fine..any idea what it could be. i am not well up on the electronics jargon, so a user friendly explanation would be appreciated..thanks?

  1. Yes you can. You connect a SCART lead from the VCR port of the SKY + box to the AV1 SCART port on your DVD recorder. When you want to record from Sky, make sure "AV1" is showing on the window of your DVD Recorder, start playing the Sky program (or recorded Sky program) and hit the Record button on the DVD Recorder.

    Hope that helps

  2. Yes - my one does.  My boyfriend is a Satellite Engineer and set it up for us (as he said I plugged it all in wrong!!)

  3. No problem just connect a scart lead to the output of your sky box to the input of ypour recorder & Bob's yer uncle.
