Will a Kicker ZX1500.1 power 2 alpine type R's@2Ohms?

Overpower them is more like it.  A ZX1000.1 would fit the bill better.  Just wire them in series/parallel and you should be good to go.

heck yes it would even a 1000.1 zx would but then again thats saying 12" type r's. but a 1500.1zx would be good for two 15's
