Yes you can.. I have done it also in amsterdam and i applied to a University in Miami... They told me because i have Merits i will not have to do no additional test. They only test they want me to do is a English test, which i already told them i have the BEC Vantage in possession which they accepted also, so i am free from doing their english test. It depends on what you want to study and what grades/subjects u have on ur BTEC diploma. Most universities even in London want you to have merits to be admitted without a test. If u have P's they may ask you to do an additional test like the SAT. The BTEC i a high diploma and internationally recognized...!

You will be required to take the SAT I and possibly the SAT II subject tests, these are standard college admissions exams which all applicants must take regardless of their citizenship.

The TOEFL may also be required for you.
