Will a Porcupine puffer fish tail grow back?

I have a Porcupine Puffer and another fish I believe bit a majority of his tail off. Will it grow back?

Yes, fish are able to regenerate fins or scales when they lose them. It may take a while though, and maybe you should look into separating the two fish if there are aggression problems.

yes it will grow back. though its going to take a while to grow back depending on the size. i would seperate the fish with the other fishes becuase its going to take forever and harder to grow back.
