Will a TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR with a HD Directv Reciever?

I don't need it to record the HD channels, i just need to know if i can still record the channels without HD.

I think you should be able to as long as the directv box has RCA(yellow, white, red) or svideo connections coming out of it. You should be able to record the non-hd channels, but only one channel at a time. you can but you'll have to use a lower grade connection while will hurt your HD picture quaulity
