Will a Wireless Internet Card work on a regular pc?

I have wireless internet available throughout my house. I was wondering if I went over to Best Buy and bought a wifi card and plugged it into the pc, would it work? Or does that only work on laptops?

Yep it will work for sure. Just make sure you get the desktop version!

Most likely it will plug into your PCI slot (make sure you have a spare slot). All you will have to do is turn off your computer, take the side panel off your case, unscrew one of the available PCI covers on the back of the case and then push the card into the slot. Turn the computer back on and insert the disk that came with your wireless card and it will work.
