a mouse will eat it, but you need to attach it to the trap so that he springs it.  Otherwise you are just feeding him.  If you moisten the chip it may stick to the spring catch.

i wouldnt think the mouse would complain..... but who knows... just try it! whats the worse that could happen!

I think mice eat everything. But the BEST bait is always peanut butter.
