i have an adapter, so US plug will fit but no voltage converter. im on my laptop right now but the converter is included in my my laptop power cord (the little box on the cord)

  1. most charger input 100V-240V, Ouput DC12V, so the battery would not be damaged.

you can see more about these info from

  2. It will blow up or be damaged unless you have a smart converter, which can detect the voltage in and adjust accordingly. Take a look at the power brick and see if it says something like: Input 120-240V.

If it does, you should be fine.

  3. If you are using the Nikon battery charger, no.  It is designed for voltages from 110-220v @ 50-60 Hz ... all you need is a plug adapter ... if you look on your charger you will see the voltages listed.

Your battery will charge in about two hours, so just plug it in and in the morning put it back in your camera ... Nikon chargers shutoff when the charging is complete

  4. The battery charger is 110-240 anything higher than that will fry it.
