Will a battery-powered watch be affected by wearing a magnetic bracelet on the opposite wrist?

Not much of a chance harming a battery operated quartz watch with such a small magnetic field. An analog mechanical watch is far more prone to magnetic problems and some people can't even wear them for that reason.

Unless you wear a Q-Ray bracelet, there would be no effect on the watch or your mood.

somtimes...my dad cant wear watches...ever one he wears stops within 24 hours....strange.

Unless you get the bracelet from NASA or its some type of super magnet I would very much doubt it.
