  1. I have a beta in a 2 gallon tank. He has lived in it for 2 years. It's not heated or filtered so i think yours will be fine. Good luck!

  2. Yes, he will be very happy in a 5 gallon!

  3. yes!!!!!!!!!!!1 your betta will be really satitfied in a 5 gallon tank just be sure it is heated and filtered

  4. Yes, that's a good size for a single betta. They can survive in smaller tanks but are happier and more active if they have space to swim. It would be better if you could buy a small heater for the tank--the small sizes (25 watts) are not expensive. Again, bettas can survive at lower temperatures but about 78-80 degrees is ideal for them--also, it's better to keep the temperature constant than let it fluctuate too much, which is hard on the fish.

  5. yes they would i had a betta in a 10 gallon tank

  6. Yes especially if you have it heated and filtered.

  7. Yes, a 5 gallon's fine.

  8. Betta's really don't need that big of a home...they normally live in puddles and small spaces when they are not pets (which explains why they are in such small containers at the petstore). I'm sure he will be alright, it's just it's really unnecessary to have such a big home for one betta.

  9. YES!! omg im soooooo glad ur wlling o give the fishy what it needs!!! a 5G heated and filtered is PERFECT for a single beta!!! =D
