Will a black belt go to jail for having agsint someone ?

Question

i heard that a black belt will get charges for getting into a fight with someone,

because he is conseidered a weapon

is this true ?

what about with a brown belt?

red belt? etc etc

Not true. There is no legal registration for being a martial artist, or any kind of fighter for that matter.

The offense and the punishment will be the same if you break the law.

It is the circumstances that count not the martial arts training.

If the martial artist started it or kept trying to hurt the bad guy when he stopped his attack then the martial artist is now a bad guy. His training or level means nothing.

It was popular in the movies during the 1950's and 60's to say that their hands were registered as lethal weapons, no such thing in real life.

No.  Anybody who pays dues long enough at a Karate club can get a black belt.
