Will a clinic give immunizations without an immunization record?

I need to get immunizations for clinical hours that start in a week in a half. I have no records of my childhood immunizations, so I scheduled an appointment for an antibody test with my doctor. Only problem I wouldn't get the results until the day after I am supposed to start and then would still need to get the immunizations.

The last immunization I had was tetanus and Hep B 11 years ago, so I know I need them again.

So I was thinking going to a clinic instead to just get them. But will they just give them to me without records? WIll they do an antibody test too or not since its a clinic?

  1. It has been my experience that Drs will often repeat routine vaccinations without much question.  I hope that you get it taken care of.  Good Luck.

  2. Yes. They are suppossed to ask you when you had them last.  Just tell them and it should work out.  You can take a statement from your DR. for your proof that you have had them.
