Will a concert at Jones Beach still be held during a thunder storm?

I'm going to see the Jonas Brothers tonight at Jones Beach but it just began thundering! Will the concert still be held if the thunder continues?

if there is lightning within 5 miles of the stadium, they will ask everyone to return to their cars or the inside section of the arena (which is too small to hold everyone).  They will restart the show when everyone is safe.

I went to the REM concert in June and there was a storm with really bad lightning.  They stopped the show for an hour and told everyone to go to their cars and listen to a Long Island radio station for updates about whether the concert would continue.  I don't know which station it was, but if you could find that station it might be helpful to listen to it.

They started up the concert as soon as the lightning was far enough away.

Well I don't know because I go to their concerts all the time and it is always rain or shine. But whenever I went there, it was never thundering.
