Will a condom go off in airport security because the foil wrapper? ?

the rappers are made out of foil and plastic. right?

so will they go off in the metal detector.

No they won't.  I have a small 'medicine bag' that I carry with me when I travel that's filled with OTC meds and other stuff. I've got about 6 or 8 condoms in it and it's never set off the metal detectors.  

Really, if you can walk through the metal detector with a watch on and not set it off what makes you think that the small amount of foil in a condom wrapper will set it off?

It may, but if the wrapper is sealed it will be ok.  Best to put it in checked or carry-on bag.

Well...no. But they make you empty your pockets anyways, so just stick it in your carry-on. They don't care about condoms.
