  1. Sounds like he got under it a bit and skied the drive?

It shouldn't effect it too much if the dent is on top of the club head.  If it is on the face of the club, replace your driver it's worthless.  You'll be fine with a dime sized dent on the top of your club head, it just doesn't look the greatest.  I would suggest not allowing your friend use that club again, maybe let he or she use an iron of yours to practice with.

  2. no...just ignor...beauty mark...

  3. It depends on where the dent is. If the dent is on the clubface, replace the club, if the dent is small and anywhere else, you should be fine, however, if the dent is large (quarte sized) you should replace it. Performance will be affected regardless, just not much depending on location and size.

  4. no it will not affect it i bought a r7 superquad for 50.00 at my local club it was a demo and has a dent the in the bottom pretty good size and i have hit one with out a dent same result no different.

  5. A small dent on the sole of the driver should have no effect on either ball flight or distance. But it is always a good excuse when you fluff a drive.

  6. yeah the club performace will suffer some but as long as the dent is on the bottom and relatively small i dont think it is neccesary to replace the club...do be aware that the spot of the dent is now a weak spot and another blow to the area could really damage the club.

  7. A small dent on the bottom shouldn't affect it's performance very much.  Have you noticed any difference?  What is the lesson we have learned here?  Never let a friend hit your brand new driver - they always try to kill it, make a bad swing and do some damage.  Let them buy their own.

  8. Yes it will. It loses it's power. If it doesn't make that loud snap, like a flat sound it no good get a new one
