  1. Hello...Yes indeed your DDS can reshape any of your teeth...There are two considerations of course, (1) Your age may be an issue...the younger you are the closer to the outside surface of the tooth lies the chamber that houses the tooth's nerve. For that reason the DDS needs to be very careful how much of the tooth he reduces...(2) If your DDS gets carried away and holds the grinding drill against the tooth so long that it overheats the tooth to the point it damages the nerve, the nerve could die over a period of months and you would then need a root canal...So, yes a tooth can be reshaped. Good luck and I wish you well.

  2. My orthodontist was happy to do it for me with a sanding-type instrument that makes your mouth feel like it's eating salt - basically cotton or dry mouth. I had some major vampire teeth, you have no idea!

Mine was affordable. Not too bad. I'm not sure if your dentist can do it, but I know the orthodontist can. :)

  3. Yes, a dentist will round them off for you. I had the same problem and I mentioned it when I was at the dentist. He used a sanding type instrument and filed them right down. No pain no fuss. I was thrilled. I don't even know if he charged me for it.

  4. .....I thought it would be cool to be a vampire :(

  5. you only damage your teeth if you file them down without caping them

  6.       IN MY OPINION I THINK FILE GOOD LUCK AT THE DENTIST
