Hi Ladies!!! Well I'm not TTC but I figured you all might be able to help me since i have a ovulation question.

If you are concerned that you are NOT ovulating, and the doctor confirms you are not ovulating, will they still put you on meds or a treatment to help you ovulate even if you are NOT TTC??

  1. No, there is no reason that you have to ovulate unless you are wanting to get pregnant.

If you are not having periods that IS of some concern, and the doctor may opt to treat the lack of periods. (She might offer birth control pills to trigger a regular bleed, or occassional cycles of provera, which would do the same thing.) (Going many months without a period can put you at increased risk for uterine cancer, and make the periods you DO have much heavier and more painful.)
