I have chronic back pain and it keeps me up at least 4 nights a week. Pain killers don't work well with me at all. I honestly thing I would really benefit from it.

  1. You would have to see a Doctor or Pain management specialist to find out.

  2. Wouldn't we all benefit from it

  3. yes they definitely will.  in california its very easy to get a prescription for marijuana

  4. I live in Australia and although a doctor can't prescribe marijuana users are dealt with leniently (ususally no penalty or conviction) if caught and it can be proven that they use it for pain relief and do so with their doctors knowledge.

Why not get some pot and try it, it may not have the effect you want.  If you find it beneficial then chat to your doctor, even if he is unable to "prescribe" marijuana, he should be aware that you are using it if you chose to do so.

  5. no they won't prescribe it for that condition.

  6. h**l yeah they will perscribe u ... i got my state card..... and i have chronic back pain as well...

  7. Ironically in the rare cases when marijuana helps, it only relieves the symptoms and doesn't treat the disease.  Which is the very claim the most supporters of medical marijuana make of traditional medicine.  There are several better alternatives to marijuana in every case where it is used.  It's just another case of people trying to find a reason to chemically alter their brains so they feel better.

  8. doubtful, many doctors are afraid of penalties for perscribing it, even though they are now protected under a law.

    you live in california, check

    www.medicannusa.com

if that doesnt work, the california NORML website has a list of marijuana-friendly physicians:

    http://canorml.org/prop/215physicians.ht...

if that still doesnt work, drop by your local newsstand (cvs, ralphs, these places DONT work) and pick up a copy of "High Times" magazine, they have tons of ads for patient referrals.

btw i've heard that it's very easy to obtain a referral.  most of these places really work with you and want you to get a referral, so dont sweat it.  and also, you might want to take somewhere around $200, they do charge for "patient evaluation".

    best of luck

    decriminalize
