Will a evaporative cooler still work if you run it at the same time as a dehumidifier?

In my opinion, they will work at cross purposes, so I don't believe they should be run together....A waste of energy too!

U can turn off ur dehumidifier when u have the water cooler on.  The reason is saving electricity.  It does not effect the efficiency of the water cooler...but wasting energy is.

Absolutely.  The evaporative cooler will be putting out cool moist air and the dehumidifier will be removing the moisture.  Most of the time in NM adding moisture to the air is a good thing even in the summer.
