Will a fox float rear shock fit on a k2 attack?

Probably.....the way you find out is to measure your shock and see if Fox makes one with the same dimensions.   You need to measure the eye-to-eye length of where the mounting bolts attach the shock to the frame/linkage, and you need to measure the stroke length of the shock you have.   The diameter of the shock is listed, too, but on that bike design it won't be an issue. Measure it anyway and compare all three measurements to what Fox offers in the model you want.

    It's very important that you get a shock with the same  eye-to-eye and stroke length...within 1/4" is ok but it's important.  Obviously a shorter shock won't work, but if you get one that's longer and try to make it work, the bike will feel like c**p and you'll be sorry you wasted your money.  

    I wouldn't do this unless you can get a really cheap price on the shock (like $50 to $100).  If you spend more than that you'll get close to what the resale value of the bike is....in that case, you could save up for a new bike with a better shock on it and sell the K2 to help offset some of the cost.
