Will a heat mat crack the glass of a vivarium?

ive been told it will but in struggling to raise the temp without it,i have a chilean rose.

no a heat mat wont crack the glass, the glass would need to be freezing and the heat mat would need to be near boiling point to cause a risk of cracking. put it back in its fine

it wont i have one and i have a heat mat on it and its been there for about a year and there hasnt been one crack. and i leave it on 24/7
