  2. NO (it not even CEA-compliant)

    with a 4ohm DVC sub depending on your wiring you can get impedance's of 2 or 8ohms at the amp-- so the amp needed will have about 600watts RMS @ 2ohms and CEA-compliant which means that the amp has been tested and produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (distortion is the main cause of speaker damage)
