Will a high heat range spark plug improve the performance of my scooter?

I ride a Honda Elite 80 that I commonly run full throttle to keep up with traffic. Normally I can easily get it to 40mph and on a good day to 45mph. If I install a high heat-range spark plug (such as a NGK CR8HS) what affect, if any, will it have on my performance? Is this even a good idea? The stock spark plug (NGK CR7HS) is currently installed.

  2. The larger number the colder the plug and a cold plug is better for wide open throttle but will fowl idling, are you using good gas, are you tires set right . You might find a set up at MRP scooter products. Is your air cleaner element clean .
