I have an original factory frame-mounted receiver hitch that was taken from a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4x4; I have someone interested in buying it from me to use on a 1998 Chevy S-10 P/U. Neither of us knows: will it fit? Or can it be reasonably modified to fit?

  1. the two trucks have identical frames really, so yes it will work. the only difference is the location of the cross member for the transfer case.

  2. Yes the blazer used the same frame and chassis 1996-2004. almost everything is interchangable except headlights grills and some interior parts.

  3. yes those are the same hitch, their both drop hitches and should work with no problems, good luck.

  4. If the blazer is the S10 series, it will work.  You'll just have to go down and take a measurement of the hitch and your friend s10.

  5. Yes it will fit , they have the same frame width, So go ahead and call the guy up , so you can get your money.
