  2. YES, the extra capacity tank (3.4 gal.) for the 250 will work on the 450.  Just bought one on Ebay for $99 plus shipping. Fits perfectly with no retrofitting WHATSOEVER. I' soooo happy. Came brand new in a box with gas cap and 2 keys. Arrived 2 days earlier than expected and is perfect. Has to be the extra capacity tank though. Saw a biker on You Tube do it and was floored. If you key in aftermarket gas tank for CMX 450, the you tube video will be there. Check it out.  Can't wait to ride again.  Yeah!!!!
