  1. Hey, do you want to see someone catch a speeding bullet in their teeth? I found this old movie trailer for "Super Fuzz" (1980). Have a look:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngvYJtpXk...

P.S.--I hope it made you smile!

  2. What do you mean? Stop a bullet?? If you mean bounce off the skin, then no. Some bullets stop inside the body and some pass through it. It depends on the caliber, the distance fired from, the part of the body it hits, and the size of the person.

  3. depends what kinda bullet

  4. It depends on the calibre of the bullet, the range and the type of bullet.

A hollow point squishes is it enters the body and dooes not exit. A dum dum bullet explodes and can blow the back of a guys head off.

Shoot from far away the bullet will more then likely remain in the body but this also depends on calibre (the size of the bullet).

  5. Actually, during China's infamous "boxer rebellion" in the late 19th century, men trained in Shaolin Kung Fu used Shaolin's iron shirt training to stop bullets.  The men were bare chested to; topless, they allowed other men to fire modern western muskets at them and reportedly they concentrated their chi to such great intensity they successfully stopped bullets.  Here's the kicker though; the Kung Fu experts in question had meditated for hours, and even though from the annecdotes that I have read (annecdotes are not proof, careful now...) the bullets did not successfully penetrate their bodies, they DID collapse from exhaustion, the level of concentration and channelling their chi having taken their toll on their bodies.  Also, they used up so much of their body's chi, the ones that were not killed by U.S. Marines among other western forces stationed in China, did not live past the age of 40.

See, there in lies one of the dangers of using chi in the martial arts; your body needs it to stay alive, and any you use, has the danger of depleting, the only way to get it back is through an intense session of meditation lasting days which, because of the chaos, the men did not have time for.  To answer your question the scientific answer is no.  If however, a pill was invented that altered the human body's bioelectrical energy so as to generate a "force field" around it not unlike the one magneto has, but at skin level, perhaps someday such a technology will be made that soldiers may really be bullet proof in the future.

    Hope that answered the question.

  6. All the above apply but look out for the bullet that spins a perp around like a top. Pure invention. Looks great on camera but doesn't actually happen
