Question:

Will a jig-saw be precise enough to cut the 10" holes in my sub box???

I am building a sub box for 2 10" subs and I have 3 saws to work with...circular saw,sawzall,and a jigsaw.

  1. it will work, but a router with a jig is the way to go.


  2. The jigsaw is the right saw. If you have the paper template, you'll see that the hole is less than 10".

  3. yeah depends on how good you are with it lol you know that if you plan on putting a 10" sub in a box that you under size the hole by a half inch so that you can s***w the sub in ya know if you make a 10" hole for a 10" sub the sub will fall right through lol good luck :) i hope i helped ya out
