  1. Try M & S for mens cardigans, follow the instructions for washing the Next one.

  2. It shouldn't if you follow the washing instructions - and if it does take it back.

If your at all concerned then hand wash

  3. only if you put it on a hot wash

  4. handwash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Always wash good cardigans with a hand-wash liquid lotion.

You can buy them at M&S and 'The Woollen Mill' shops,

and you treat them with respect !

  6. If you follow the label's instructions it should wash up fine, otherwise bring it back to where you purchased it.   I usually wash my sweaters and such in cold water and gentle cycle.  I then hang it over a wrack and try to shape it the best I can so it doesn't get streched out.  It isn't as soft as if I would put them in the dryer, but I sometimes throw then in the dryer after they are air dried with a damp towel for a few minutes.  It makes them soft again without stretching them out of shrinking them.

    Good luck.
