Will a male beta eat NOT baby but smaller and still growing up Zebra Danios?

Will my male beta eat smaller zebra danios in a 10 gallon tank? and does petsmart sell live plants 4 defense? THANKS

Betas are very aggressive. They will attack other fish that are in the same tank with it, especially if there a smaller fish. Why put your other fish in risk. Your beta will especially  be aggressive in mating season. So I advise you to keep the other fish away. I know a lot about fish, and I owend 2 bettas.

Danios are fast little guys.  As long at it is not a baby, I think the Zebra's will out swim the slower beta.
