marriage is a marriage. it cud be between anyone. black white, chinese, indian, muslim, christian, watever. but the important thing is that the person's involved in the marriage. are they willing to compromise and accept each other. will they respect each other's belief and culture and tradition, if yes, then no need to worry. wat matter is that the 2 ppl involved are willing to work at it. if u both are happy and can accept each other, tats a very gud beginning. i'm sure once the baby comes along, the elder will all accept the marriage. wheather the marriage will work or not, well even a luv marriage can't guarantee that. don't think bout the future but take things one day at a time

i don't' think that races/cultures is the matter will make your marriage last or not, i'm chinese, my ex-husband is chinese, but we divorced, coz he is a jerk from his bone, marriage build on your trust worthy and loves to each other.

I would say the biggest indication of if it will work out is if you both share the same values. Another big thing is do you have a support system. It is really hard raising a little one with no family or support system. If you have a support system then you both don't just have to rely on each other for strength. Also when you have your baby you will probably be really tired but don't let this get in the way of s*x. s*x in my opinion is very important to maintain a relationship.

As far as ethnicities go I believe Asians and white guys are very compatible.

Do they try to force their beliefs on each other?

do they talk through their problems in an adult fashion?

Race and creeds don't really matter if the people involved are willing to work at the relationship and communicate without trying to change the other person.

Sure and most definitely this marriage can last if it were done for the right reasons. Just because it is interracial doesn't mean you automatically have less of a chance for a loving, strong, happy relationship. Marriage is extremely hard for most but it can be done happily for many many years-til death do you part!

Cultural differences can be fun, exciting, educational, and awesome. If there are problems because of the cultural differences they too can be addressed and ironed out. Interracial marriages are wonderful and great!  By the grace of God they do produce beautiful kids.

Do not let the outside world determine the fate of your marriage! Take care of each other love one another and make it work...

You shouldn't go into a marriage wondering whether it will last especially if a child is involved. If you do split up it is unlikely your nationalities will be the only reason. Goodluck.

It is no different from any other marriage.  If the two people love each other, and are willing to make sacrifices to be together, it will work out.  If there is no love, only obligation, the chances are great that it will not work.  Just make sure that he is aware of the differences in the cultures.  You do the same, because, if your family are traditional Chinese, you will be doing plenty of explaining about the decisions that he will make.

There is a family in Louisiana that are mixed Ital-Amer, and Chinese-Amer and they own a restaurant that serves bothe traditional Chinese and Italian Food.  It is unique, but it works for them.
