I have a mattress sitting in a storage unit NOT that tightly wrapped in this plastic mattress cover. Is it possible that it will be bug ridden deep inside the matress? Silverfish or bedbugs? Should it just be tossed out? I live in Missouri is that helps with the answer (we have lots of bugs here, ick. haha)

  1. It's possible.

Air it out in the sun for as long as possible and vacuum it really well all over.

If it's been in plastic the problems should be minimised but it needs airing out regardless. It needs fresh air and sunshine to freshen it up a little.

If ur unsure ask a mattress shop and they could recommend something or get someone to have a look at it.

  2. I;m afraid the only way to tell is to look at it which I can't do. Good luck hope its ok.

  3. It could very well be full of thouse yummy bugs! If its got opening where a bug can go in side they might just be nesting inside of it i would take a look and see. You could always do open mattress surgery to see haha.
