Will a misdemeanor warrant for DUI cause me to be arrested at the Mexico/US border?

The warrant is from Phoenix and I live in Ca. So, I would be entering Ca not Arizona from Mexico.

I know I need to take care of that problem but.....

Sounds like you are aware that your warrant is State Wide Only (Arizona). There are several warrant options; County wide, Boardering Counties, State Wide, Boardering States, US and National. A DUI is pretty minor and A State wide warrant was probly issued. Anytime Law Enforcement any where runs your D.L. Number or Name/Date of Birth it will show a hit....for a arrest warrant if there is one and its in the system. Typically Law Enforcement will confirm the warrant and contact the agency who issued it.

If your picked up any where you could be held by law enforcement for the issuing agency, if they will come get you. Again a DUI is minor and Law Enforcement will not spend the money to come get you on something so minor........they will wait till they get you in or around Arizona.
