Question:

Will a month of not skateboarding effect how i skateboard.?

okay so im not going to skateboard for a month...

and im wondering if there will be a major effect

because when i bend and twisted my joints in my ankle i couldn't skateboard for 2 weeks.. and i couldn't ollie high as i used to and jump over huge gaps..

will it be major effect and will it be easy to get back as good as i used to be ?

  1. um I think...

    If your really injured that bad...

    that injury will affect your skating...

    If you are not that injured (as you said - twisted ankle)

    let it subside first and then skate again. anyway its just a twisted ankle... Its not a big injury like fractures or If you have arthritis (aching of the joints in the knees) THAT will affect your skating... its just a twisted ankle....

    Your skills is not really that affected... your not scared of landing tricks are you? no? are you bailing tricks over and over? (well, sometimes I bail). sometimes? my suggestion is Keep Practicing! Again...

    sometimes we people mix up physical and psychological aspects...

    well to tell you... I'm a skateboarder too... I stopped around for about 7 months and I didn't skated that whole time still now I can ollie up gaps again but it took me one 6 days or 2 weeks  to skate good...


  2. Yea it will mess you up but not to bad,it will take a lot of practice to get back to normal though

  3. yeah you will have to re learn everything you already knew up that would only take like 2 days at the most probably not even that
