Will a movie never take you on boad as an actor unless you have qualifications or experience in acting?

  1. as an extra yes. because there is no nessicary (gosh i can never spell that word..) talent needed. it sounds harsh but it's more experience under your belt and in your resume. so you can be in hit movies, as an extra. but being an extra gives you that opportunity to be close to the action and study the actors/resses as well. think of it as a class.

    sometimes, movies have open casting calls for extras. they just need people to fill spots in the backgrounds. you don't have to have an agent per se...but its easier if you do because it's their job to have the inside scoop with auditions and such. good luck

  3. They go through agents, and agents will only represent you if you are a member of Equity (the actor's union) which means you have to have done hundreds of hours of acting work.

    So the answer is no.  Sorry.
