Will a neem oil pesticide effect the taste of my herb garden?

I was just wondering if using neem oil as a pesticide would make the plants that I am growing taste bad to me or just to the Japanese beetles trying to kill them.

First of all The company I work for sells about 6 different companies variations of neem. NO it will not effect the taste of you edibles unless you spray then eat it an hour or so later.

NEEM is safe, in India they use it as toothpaste. Neem works as both a smothering agent and it disrupts the reproductive cycle of insects. Dont use chemicals! use neem or another organic spray, My great, great grandchildren are thanking you in advance for using organics.

They want too play in the soil someday too!

Yeah, you should not use that stuff on edibles.  Taste is taste.

Neem is a great organic pesticide, herbicide and fungicide, but I would be wary of eating food sprayed with it. If you do, wash it well, and use food grade neem. Some of the neem products contain other poisonous ingredients like pyrethrins. Another potential problem with neem oil, is that in the sun it could sizzle the plant's leaves. Another suggestion (from the book Great Garden Formulas)  for Japanese beetles is to pick and toss them into a bucket with 1 quart of water, 1 tsp. dishwashing liquid, and 2 Tbl. of cooking oil. After a few days you can pour the mixture into your compost pile.
