Will a or several car batteries turn a magnetic motor out of a treadmill (120v-240v)?

  1. If you put 10 charged car batteries in series, you would have an output of 120V, that would be able to turn the motor. To put them in series, you connect the positive terminal from the first to the negative terminal of the second, then the positive of the second to the negative of the third, etc... until you have them all linked with the negative terminal of the first battery open to connect to the negative pole of the motor and the positive pole of battery number 10 open to connect to the positive pole of the motor. I would suggest not doing this however, because you will be playing with enough voltage and amperage to easily kill yourself if you connect the wrong things.
