Will a pink tattoo fade over time?

Question

I want to get a very small pink heart on the inside of my wrist. I'm 20 and I don't want to have it when I'm older. Will it fade?

It may fade a little overtime, but not dramatically.

It will fade a little over time..but will never look even close to &quot;gone&quot; NEVER get a tattoo if you don&#039;t intend to have it for the rest of your life..its a big decision! ( I myself have 3) You can always have it removed later on with a laser but that&#039;s expensive and from what I hear hurts like a *****! (and still leaves you with an ugly mark!)

Probably not enough so that you can&#039;t see it...but if you really don&#039;t want it when you&#039;re older you can get it lasered off or just use make-up to hide it.

I don&#039;t know why everyone says they will fade over time, of course, with improper tattoo care, such as going out in the sun without sunscreen and not keeping them moisturized, they will.  I take excellent care of my tattoos and none of them have faded.  It also depends on your skin type, some people are more prone to fading tattoos than others.  Its kind of like a &#039;wait and see&#039; thing.  Just take care of your art, and it will take care of you.  Good luck.  :D

All tattoos will fade; many factors influence this, including your skin health, sun exposure, and the quality of the tattoo artist.

With this being said, tattoos are meant to be permanent.  Getting them removed is expensive, difficult, and time-consuming.  It&#039;s your body, but keep this in mind before you get inked.

if you dont want it when you get older why get it? well get it in white ink white fades fast

ALL tattoos fade no matter what color, but it wont fade to the point where you wont have it anymore. my suggestion is if you dont want to have it when your older, dont get one at all. or atleast stick to temporary ones.

I don&#039;t know if it&#039;ll go COMPLETELY away, but it will definitely fade, black tattoos eventually fade if you don&#039;t get them colored back in.
