Will a pioneer 760w 2 channel amp work on 2 subs that have 120 rms each?

  1. yes if your amp has a power level thing just turn it down if you over power them it will cause your sub to clip which is when the copper coil pops out of the motor "magnet" and if you under power them it will cause the sub to worp which will make it blow too try to stay around the rms i like to hook em up to like 50 watts more than the rms just to get a lil more db out of them ya know well good luck i hope this helped


  2. it should but if the amp is putting out more rms wattage than the subs or you could damage them....

  3. it def will...just dont turn the gain up..youll blow ur subs....that is one of the better amps that pioneer made, especially for the price..i prefer pioneer subs and head units though
