Will a plant grow bettee in artificial light or grow better in sunlight?

i need help for my science exit project. i need the answer or help on the question above. if i dont get an answer or advice by may 26th i an not going to graduate from middle school so who ever is out there please help a little 8th grade girl leave middle school

  1. well a plant should grow better in an environment with real sunlight, because sunlight is used for photosynthesis which creates a simple sugar (glucose) which is then used to make ATP (energy). sunlight is what creates the plants food in other words


  2. Plant will grow well in sunlight In case of artificial light  growth is affected due to intensity of light &distance of light source.

  3. Plants grow in any kind of light availible to them.

    However they grow better in those lights that resemble sunlight called Daylights and Grow-Lights. Plants respond better to lights with more of a blue color spectrum these special bulbs produce. These have a bluish hue to them  unlike the incandescant lights in that soft white that produce a

    more red spectrum.

    However a plant needs that right amount of light rather than the right kind of light called footcandles.

    A cacti needs about 5000 footcandles while your Chinese Evergreen needs only 500 footcandles regardless of the light

    type.
