Will a pony tail at the very top of my head give me volume the next day?

It won't give you volume. But I know that it will give you a nice wave were the hair tie was. Unless you hair is really thick, then you will get a poof sorta thing. It all depends on your hair.

I would suggest sleeping with your hair in a messybun, that will give you volume and curl. That I'm almost sure works on every person.
