Will a prior arrest show on an extensive background check?

I have to get an extensive background check for a job and I was wondering If my arrest for felony possession will show up even though the charges will dropped?

  1. Yes it will show. When they run your criminal background check it will list all charges, then it will list their outcome beside it. For instance, if you were charged with petty larceny but it was non processed, it would list as such. If you had been charged with Malicious wounding, but convicted of assault and battery it would list the original charge and then list the convicted charge to the side. If you were to go obtain one yourself you could see what all is on there and then fill out your application accordingly.  


  2. I highly doubt it, but in case it does or if you want to be absolutely sure, get a copy of your criminal record and see what it says. There might be a way to get it taken off if the charges were dropped.
