Will a pub employ me if im 17?

Not behind the bar they won't.But you could clean tables or if they serve food you can work in the kitchen or be a waiter/waitress!

yes you can collect glasses and serve food but your not allowed to sell any drinks other then soft drinks

you can be trained ready for when your the legal age and even go to collage and do a exam

pubs shouldn't employ you, but you might be able to get some cash in hand work

it depends, in my country legal age is 18 so anybody under 18 years old is not allowed to work unles for entertainment and for family business. I think you need to wait for 1 year to have a good job after all nobody wants to employ a minor employee....

You have to be 18 to serve drinks although some places will still employ you even though it's illigal. But i'm sure you would be able to work as a waitress serving chips etc

Only to do the washing up......you have to be 18 to work a bar

You couldn't work behind the bar (have to be 18) but you could be potman, cellarman, waiter. Try places like the Witherspoons chain or brewer fayre starting off in the restaurant gives you experience and leads onto bar work when you are 18

They can ONLY employ you as a waiter/ess.  It is ILLEGAL for you to serve/sell alcohol until you are 18.
