Will a recruitment company charge me?

ive used a recruitment company to help me find a job... if i was to get the job i had an interview for would they charge me? and how much roughly? because they've said nothing to me.... at this new job i'd be earning about 5.70 an hour and my yearly salary is £11,000...if that helps thanks in advance...

  1. No, if they said you get £5.70 then thats what you get an hour.

    the fact is that your agency is probably getting £6.50 an hour, thats how they make their money.


  2. The recruitment company charges the employer. They are acting as a "talent scout" for the company and they send you for the interview. You may also want to register with more than one recruiter, they all have different companies that they work with (though some do overlap) but it will increase your chances of getting a job, and maybe a better one.  You can also just call the recruitment agencies and ask if they will charge you a fee. It should have been stated so in the contract, that I know you kept any paperwork you were given.  Good Luck in your search!
